Bookmarks - Good people and content deserve to be seen and be appreciated

I started publishing my bookmarks. I believe good content, resources, designs, works of art, code (same thing), many many things deserve to have someone look upon them, gush over them and treasure them. I believe I like to do that. That is why I remain a prolific tab hoarders, I just can't bear to close them, not until my linux machine literally cannot run, and I've run with few 1000s of tabs for months on end.

So this is my space where I put some of them, those that deserve to have many more people look upon them, learn from them, and appreciate them as I do.

Eventually, I will curate these better, but right now I think just having them up there, all messy motivates me more to clean them up and put more there than anything else. And so shall it be.

I wish more people did this. There are such amazing stuff out there in the world that hasn't seen as many people. It's a bubble that we live in, and the things we interact with rarely break out of this bubble.

Like the Making Software site, ampcode.com blogs, Aaron Francis's stuff, Gary Bernhardt and Destroy all Software, Grant Slatton's site, Paul Stamatiou's site, Addy Osmani's writing, hell Gwern's everything. So many of these are out of the sphere of even my close friends and colleague that it boggles my mind. There are friends who missed out on Arc and Dot, haven't come across Anthony Fu's projects and notes or haven't seen Ben Bohmer's live sets. Or didn't come across teachyourselfcs or CSPrimer, or The art of engineering mgmt which I know some of them would absolutely love.

And there are so so many things I haven't come across before myself. And I really want to. I want to turn these unknown unknowns into, at the very least, known unknowns, so I know they exist and so someday I come across them, read them, admire them and learn from them as I do now.

I wish I could share all my tab collections from the last 7 years, just as I wish I could read and remember most of them all the time. But my head is chuck full from following all the recent AI developments that seem to progress at a pace of new major things every few days. So I hope to chip into that by keeping many of them here and help people find them as they come across here, one of those being myself.
